What happens if it rains on our Daintree tour?

The Daintree is a tropical rainforest, so rain is part of the experience and tours generally continue in wet weather.

We provide umbrellas and ponchos if it rains, and your guide will adjust the day where necessary for safety and comfort.

Safety is our priority. Extreme weather weather could cause cancellation, in which case you’ll be offered to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Can we swim on the tour?

Yes, when conditions permit.

The Half-Day Tour offers the opportunity to swim at Mossman Gorge, while the Total Daintree Experience offers a swim at Cooper Creek. Swimming is always optional.

How much walking is involved on a Daintree tour?

Our tours are designed to be relaxed rather than strenuous, but they do include short guided walks on rainforest boardwalks and natural surfaces.
