Daintree Discovery Tours is a proudly locally owned and operated company, celebrating 20 years of showcasing the wonders of the Daintree Rainforest.
We believe the best way to experience the Daintree is up close and personal, which is why we run small group tours—just 10 guests on full-day tours and 16 on half-day tours. Our expert local guides take you beyond sightseeing, helping you truly connect with this ancient and magnificent ecosystem.
Our mission is simple: to give you an unforgettable adventure and a deeper understanding of why the Daintree must be protected for generations to come.

An amazing day in all regards. From the moment we were picked up at the hotel we were transported into the incredible experience that is the Daintree. Our guide, Daniel was superb. Knowledgeable, witty, and accommodating… Highlighted by several crocodile sightings, it was all special from ferns, insects, towering trees, all topped off by lovely ice cream at the end of the day. Great half day experience. The crocodile spotting was fun and entertaining for the kids, and the Daintree Forrest is beautiful. We saw loads of crocs, walked the forest trails and really enjoyed the relaxed pace of the tour.

Had a wonderful half day morning tour of the Daintree River Cruise today visiting some crocodiles. Followed by a trip out to Mossman Gorge (a real highlight!)… Daniel our friendly guide gave us a great experience and lots of great information too. A lovely tour and a great way to explore!
